XXXVIII Nunslaughter - Red Is The Color Of Ripping Death (Hell's Headbangers)

 

The first full length since 2014’s Angelic Dread is also the first to feature Wrath (Blood Tusk) on drums, sitting in the stool where underground legend Jim Sadist (RIP) once sat. 

Superb work from the legends of true underground satanic black death thrash. They can rock with the best of them too. The R n R foundation some of these songs are infectious and I dare you to not snap your head off listening to it.

That head of yours will just roll around on the floor before spontaneously combusting when the next kick ass fucking riff and percussion hit those unattached-yet-still-functioning ear holes. 

Early Slayer, Venom, Carcass, and Maiden rear their ugly heads to assist in flavoring of Ripping Death but amid all that, toss in the slow doom of let’s say, Candlemass or even Incantation’s glacial pace at times.

 However, slow is not necessarily a focal point at all. 90% of this is a smash and destroy. You’ll have to consciously stop yourself from trashing your place when you put it on, and I don’t have to tell you how careful you’ll need to be with that vinyl (that shit might as well be made of gold these days.).
